Situated 2 miles north of Winter and 30 minutes southeast of Hayward, Winter Greenhouse has been attracting visitors to the Northern part of the state now for 25 years. With over 1000 different varieties of herbaceous perennials, they also carry a large and unique selection of annuals, including combination hanging baskets up to 36 inches in diameter. A large nursery, including a wide range of hardy roses, fruits, trees and shrubs has something to suit all tastes. There are also plenty of merchandise, garden center items and gifts for people to choose from. An expanse of colorful display gardens encircling a pond and waterfall has created an appealing destination in the Northwoods.
