A shortage of medical assistants is increasingly reaching near crisis levels, especially in the rural areas. In-Clinic Assistant Training gives medical assistant candidates the opportunity to learn the necessary skills while working in the clinic as an apprentice. ICATAP provides the knowledge needed to pass boards through our online curriculum that enriches the learning opportunity of the trainee.

A WIN-WIN FOR CLINICS AND MA EMPLOYEES
Our innovative apprenticeship program is a WIN-WIN for both Clinics (Employer) and the MA “Trainee” (Employee) by combining credentialed online Medical Assistant curriculum with an In-Clinic Apprenticeship.

The clinic benefits by filling staff needs while investing in their MA personnel, who are trained per their clinic standards and procedures. Clinics realize return on their investment in the trainee.

The trainee gains on-the-job experience while earning income instead of incurring education debt from traditional MA certification programs.

The trainee enrolls and completes our ICATAP online educational courses (outside of clinic work hours) that we designed to correlate with their In-Clinic Training.

Our rigorous curriculum is honed from years of teaching students at the college level, placing them in externships, and preparing them to sit and pass the CCMA boards. ICATAP, LLC accomplishes these objectives through our one-year apprenticeship program.
