Regional Hospice is a non-profit, community based organization committed
to providing individualized, compassionate, physical, spiritual and psycho-
social care and support to patients and families, enabling death with dignity
as a completion of life.
How Hospice Works:
Hospice services are available to patients who have a terminal illness where the goal of treatment is pain management and symptom control. Services are provided by a team of trained professionals ? physicians, nurses, chaplains, social workers, aides, and volunteers ? who provide medical care and support services. Some medical equipment and medications related to the patients terminal illness may also by supplied.
