Name: Ice Age National Scenic Bird Walk

Event Description:
A bird walk lead by Laura Sandstrom on the hemlock Creek Segment of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail starting from the Murphy flowage Recreation Area.  Identifying over 100 species of birds on sections of the Ice Age Trail, this is regarded as one of the "hot spots" of Rusk and Barron Counties.  It is recommended to bring binoculars, field guide and clothing appropriate for weather and conditions on the trail.  
Location:
The Murphy Flowage Recreational Area is on Rusk Cty "F", 8 Miles from Birchwood and 4 miles from the junction of "F" and "O" in Rusk County.
