Family Snowshoe Hike
Are you looking for a fun activity to do with the family before the big "Birkie" race?

The Cable Natural History Museum has partnered with the American Birkebeiner Foundation for a one mile leisurely snowshoe hike in the peaceful winter woods. Learn about winter wildlife and tracking, hear the history of snowshoeing, and experience the Northwoods on snowshoes.

Meet at the Museum at 10:00 a.m. and return by noon. A limited number of adult and children's snowshoes are available for use from the Museum for $2/child pair and $4/adult pair. Registration is required by Feb. 24 please call the Museum at 715-798-3890. The program will not occur if the temperature is below 5° F. Donations accepted.
