Event Description:
In 2012, Sawyer Cty resident Gail Francis hiked the 2670 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail. This five-month journey took her from the US border with Mexico all the way up to British Columbia, through the backcountry of California, Oregon, and Washington.
She will share stories and photos of the stunning wilderness and the eccentric people she met along the way.
Come for a fun time and to learn about the good, the bad, and ridiculous of a long-distance hiking.
