Sawyer County Agricultural Fair

The Sawyer County Fair Association exists to organize, advertise, and operate an annual fair promoting agriculture, the arts, education, and entertainment. Check our website for a schedule of attractions and events!

The SCAFA is always looking for ways to make the Fair bigger and better. Usually this is done by adding new events. One of the newer additions to the lineup that quickly became a hit with the spectators is the Poorman?s Racing. In this event, stock cars and demo cars combine as they run on a 50 x 150 yard track; racing with stockcar-like moves and demo car smack-up and crack-up style. The object of the race is to be in first place after so many laps, plus the drivers in the back of the pack try to move to the front of the pack. The fun begins when the rear cars bump and smack into the lead drivers to try to obtain first place in the lineup.
