Saturday, January 23 Luffarslöjd: Swedish Wire Craft In the depression of the 1920?s and 1930?s in Sweden, people out of work would earn money by turning scrap wire into beautiful crafts, both household and decorative. Naturalist Elsa Hansen will first teach a simple wall hanger, and then finish with a small dish or candle holder. This craft is geared for ages 10 and up. Meet at the Museum from 10:30 a.m.-noon. Wire and some tools provided. Please bring needle nose pliers if you can. Space is limited. Call 715-798-3890 to register by January 20. $10 member/$15 non-member.*
