Thursday, March 31 Dinner Lecture: Talking About Yew! (Adult Naturalist Program) Northland College professor Sarah Johnson will share stories from her research on Canada yew in the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. She?ll chat about the natural history of this rare and charismatic shrub, the unique quality of Great Lakes islands where it is often found, and she?ll discuss yew?s uncertain future in our Great Lakes region. This lecture is part of the National Park Service?s ?Centennial Lecture Series.? Join us at 5:30 p.m. at the Rookery Pub. You may also join us for dinner and conversation after the presentation.
