Event Description:
Cable-Hayward Area Arts Council invites you to a "light-filled" night of art and entertainment. This year we have changed our format to a new day of the week and new time for CHARAC's annual fundraising event. It is on a Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Flat Creek Inn on Hwy 27 in Hayward. This year's event highlights objects and art that extends the enjoyment of our day , both inside and out. Entertainment by Drummond High School ensemble performers from the State Music Festival, and more surprises too. Of course, there will be live and silent auctions, basket raffles, and light hors d'oeuvre for your culinary pleasure. This Annual Event is CHARAC's largest student and developing artist scholarship fundraising event. Event proceeds are invested in scholarships for talented students going on to study Music, Theater, Dance, Culinary Arts, and Art and Design. Grants also go to developing the talent of community artists and to strengthen the art programs in area schools.
