Event Description:
The Wisconsin Breeding Bird Atlas II is a comprehensive field survey that documents the distribution and abundance of birds breeding in an area. The information will allow us to see changes in bird populations since the last survey and to understand possible future changes. Learn how birders can help this 5-year project, the biggest citizen science effort in the history of Wisconsin. Mike Reese, Director of Volunteers for the Atlas, and Bill Mueller, Director of the Western Great Lakes Bird and Bat Observatory, will explain this incredible project, and show you how to get involved! 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Museum. Register by October 6. Donations accepted.
