In the midst of a precipitous decline worldwide, insect pollinators have garnered attention in the media as scientists scramble to find answers to this unprecedented crisis. Local Ecologist Eric North will shed light on the issues causing the declines and challenges facing farmers and land managers in keeping our systems intact, and what?s happening locally and regionally to promote pollinator recovery and conservation. Meet at 5:30 p.m. at the Rookery Pub. You may also join us for dinner and conversation after the presentation. Register by November 10. $5 member/$10 non-member.
