  • About

Wilderness Walk Zoo & Western Town is a family oriented fun day. We offer trout ponds by the entrance and a petting zoo in the nursery area. You can visit the farm yard and enjoy and feed all kinds of domestic farm animals large and small. Take the trail around the park to see many Wisconsin wild animals, plus exotics like our Siberian Tiger, Ring tailed Lemur and more in natural setting cages. All of our white tail deer roam freely throughout the park, as well as peacocks, a variety of birds and waterfowl, many that you can hand feed. On the back side of the park is an informational walking trail where you might see the fawns and more deer roaming in the woods or the pileated woodpeckers. Our western town is a picnic area, with a video arcade, mystery house and maze for everyone to enjoy. We have a boardwalk filled with museums of a blacksmith shop, country store, undertaker, seamstress, taxidermist and of course ''the jail.'' Let the children pan for gold and redeem it in the cafe for a small sucker treat. For lunches you may get hotdogs, brats, sandwiches, pizza, nachos, chips, pop, slushies, homemade shakes and malts, ice cream and many other treats. A playground with swings, sandbox, and swing bridge towers will provide the kids a place to have fun. You can make the goats walk the bridge to the towers to get their corn treats. A unique gift shop is located in the cafe and a souvenir store is located in the front as you are leaving. Come and visit Wilderness Walk Zoo and Western Town and experience the animals close up and all the fun!!
