The new Water's Edge Senior Living Community houses a Medicare approved 50 bed skilled care center. Each resident enjoys a private room and bath. There are also 20 assisted living apartments in Water's Edge that feature a beautiful dining room, exercise room, spa, beauty/barber shop, chapel and Bistro.

The attached hospital makes rehabilitation services and 24 hour physician staffed emergency care available without leaving the building. Ground and air ambulances are readily accessed for the transport of acute cases to regional trauma centers. Onsite clinics offer family medical care, and visiting specialists enhance the access to care for all who live, work and visit the Hayward area.
