Come to the Cable Natural History Museum to learn about the fascinating world of raptors, and meet one of the Museum's live education birds. Please come early to find a seat by 11:00 a.m. Donations accepted.

Snowshoe Adventure on the Hayward Library Trails
Join Naturalist Emily Stone for an easy adventure at the Hayward Library Trails. Learn about winter tree ID, animal tracking, birds, and anything else you?re curious about! Dress for the weather. Meet at 10:30 a.m. in front of the library. Register by January 16, and reserve snowshoes (if needed) by calling the Cable Natural History Museum 715-798-3890. Donations accepted. Brought to you in partnership with Sherman & Ruth Weiss Community Library, Hayward.

Dinner Lecture: Hot Topics in Geoscience
Tom Fitz, Associate Professor of Geoscience at Northland College, will share the newest discoveries in geoscience. Possible topics include: the latest in climate science; looking at the Earth?s interior through seismography; and landing on comets. Join us at 5:30 p.m. at the Rookery Pub. You may also join us for dinner and conversation after the presentation. Call the Cable Natural History Museum 715-798-3890 to register by January 21. $5 member/$10 non-member.
