Membership Services Coordinator
Job Description
Full-Time Position
Membership Services Coordinator will coordinate all the details required to ensure Hayward Area Chamber of Commerce Membership benefits and public relation duties are fulfilled in a professional manner on a day-to-day basis. Applicant must be able to work independently as directed by the Executive Director.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, social media marketing and web site basic editing/development
Expected to silicate, retain, secure and grow membership base of the Hayward Area Chamber of Commerce
Applicant must be detailed-oriented and very organized, to manage the many aspects of Membership benefits.
Written and verbal communication skills are important in interacting with a variety of people ranging from vendors, local businesses and media.
Must be flexible and capable of working hours (including nights and weekends occasionally) necessary to meet Membership goals; able to set priorities and anticipate project needs.
Secondary education preferred; significant work experience can substitute for the degree. At least two years of marketing, public relations or sales background is preferred.
