Songs of Lakes & Lighthouses features musical selections and large-screen visuals from Chautauqua?s historical musicals and other original material. The show captures the essence of living near the Great Lakes with songs about the lighthouses and their keepers, shipping and shipwrecks and the natural beauty of Wisconsin lakes and rivers. Whether it?s standing on the deck of the doomed ship Manistee, arriving on the banks of Outer Island, or paddling a canoe to a new land, the magic of the Big Top teaches the bounty of history as it entertains.
