Event Description:
MaryJo Gingras, Lake Program Coordinator at Northland College, will join us as we tour the lake on a pontoon boat. She?ll explain the fascinating water quality research, aquatic plant surveys and shoreline habitat assessments that she and her students are conducting on this lake. Emily Stone, Museum Naturalist, will be along to talk about eagles, loons, and other natural wonders. Meet at the Cable Natural History Museum at 9:00 a.m., return by noon. Space is limited.
