Friday, February 19 Family Snowshoe Hike Are you looking for a fun activity to do with the family before the big ?Birkie? race? The Cable Natural History Museum has partnered with the American Birkebeiner Foundation for a one-mile leisurely snowshoe hike in the peaceful winter woods. Learn about winter ecology and wildlife tracking and experience the Northwoods on snowshoes. Meet at the Museum at 10:00 a.m. and return by noon. Adult and children?s snowshoes are available for use from the Museum for $2/child pair and $4/adult pair. The program will not occur if the temperature is below 5° F. Donations accepted. Call the Museum at (715)798-3890, to register and reserve your snowshoes.
