Thursday, February 25 Dinner Lecture: Leading away from Lead (Adult Naturalist Program) Lead is a dangerous toxin. UMD chemist Bob Carlson will describe some of his recent work on keeping lead out the environment, the implications of "additive manufacturing? such as 3D printing, and the broader implications of developing environmentally friendly new materials.
