Event Description:
Hayward's largest summer celebration of the great fishing history of Wisconsin's northwoods. Held annually the weekend following Father's Day in downtown Hayward. The weekend includes the crowning of our Musky Festival Queen, sidewalk sales, large handmade arts & crafts show, live music, children's games, great food booths, Musky Run, fishing contest and a carnival. Everyone will enjoy regional musicians during Friday and Saturday night street dances. The weekend concludes with a large parade on Sunday. www.muskyfestival.com.

Each year the Hayward Area Chamber of Commerce Musky Festival Committee invites graphic artists of all ages and skill levels to enter the Musky Festival Logo Contest.

The Musky 5k Run/Walk is a fun and non-competitive event. The course follows a route through the downtown and the City of Hayward starting and finishing on Main Street in front of People's Bank. New this year is the 10K, for those of you wishing to go a bit further.  There is also a free Minnow Run for the youngest members of the family which loops a downtown area block. All participants receive a prize.

The Finale of the Musky Festival celebration is the Grand Parade on Sunday, which marches down Main Street in downtown Hayward, WI. The Grand Parade features area business and non-profit floats, area High School and professional marching bands, clowns, horses and more!
